Splendors and Glooms is a must read for all ages. It has a nerve rattling plot
and will keep you on the edge of your seat till the end of the book. The ending
is totally unexpected and adds a new twist on fantasy. The most interring
quality of Splendors and Gloom is the puppet concept. It gears the entire book
and gives life to the plot. Splendors and Glooms will bring a ignite a love for
I won’t give any more away, cause if I do I’ll give TO much away like the plot!! I will leave now….-_-
Ever grabbed a well read, well-worn read off the bookshelf and turned its familiar pages?Perhaps you have. Memorized all the words on the pages but simply can’t resist reading it just once more. Well my friends don’t worry. You’re not alone. It could be a fairy tale from Neverland, or a middle school love story. Why not a non-fiction safari adventure or an action packed manga? Even though you have read the words more than a gazillion billion times before, the pages of the book still come at you with great surprise, adventure and new revolving feelings. As you understand the story even better. You may get that sudden flashback of a memory of you first reading this book or begging your mother to read it to you. That’s the thing people; you can’t get the same feeling from a brand new crisp paperback or hard cover off the book store racks that still has its price tag on the back. There is something extra special and unique about that old, page crinkled book that makes you pick it up. There is no reason to fret sooner than later its cover will become well known too.
Now I’m not talking about the type of brain freeze you get when you race to see who can eat the most ice cream at once! Or when your brain gets slurpee streams coming through! No not at all!! This brain freeze can take more than just a few minutes to cool down!! Can you guess what I am talking about??? :0 Some people call it a brain freeze others name it writer’s block! Whatever you call it the symptoms are the same, your brain stopped turning its wheels!! One minute you have this great idea burning a hole in the side of your head and the next minute its gone like a fast tornado! Or your staring at the loose leaf that stares right back with its beady eyes and then POOF all of those brilliant ideas decide to pack what they can and run away!! Nooo!! Is the common response, but what can we do? 😀 Not like there is an undo button and mouse that we can just click and get back our ideas( I WISH)! Now we can’t get rid of brain freezes permanently so lets work around it!! Now what we humans need is an “Idea Generator.” Something that takes our extra brian’s ideas and stores them untill we run into a frustrating brain freeze. Then the generator puts one of our own ideas in front of us and it’s like that writer’s block NEVER existed!! Would that not be the utmost miracle!!
Now if only I could find the materials to build this…………………………. ^o^
